a community of women who love to get out in the great-outdoors
and enjoy the thrill of Mountain Biking.
TrailChicks
- TrailChicks was started in 2000 by Ginny Oyhenart to help
encourage women from all over to ride and compete in the sport
of mountain biking.
Wylder
- Wylder is responsible for the Juliana Furtado "Femmetry"
line of women's geometry bikes and components. Finally somebody
out there is marketing to smaller hands, shorter legs and
different curves!
Trish
Downing Info - On September 17, 2000 Trish Downing was
struck by a car while riding her bicycle. She suffered a severe
spinal injury which left her paralyzed from the waist down.
She is currently in the Craig Rehabilitation center recovering
from this tragic accident.
Dirt
Divas - The Dirt Divas are a mountain biking club for
women of all ages and skill levels who share an enthusiasm
for mountain biking and cycling.
Racergirl
- A new internet web site designed to promote mountain biking
and provide insights on the sport's popular professional circuit
Singletrack
Mud Pack - The Singletrack Mud Pack Mountain Bike Club
is based in Nova Scotia Canada. They are dedicated to helping
women discover the fun and fitness of mountain biking.
Spokeswomen
- Located in Whistler, British Columbia, Spokeswomen Mountain
Bike Camps encourage women riders of all levels to overcome
fears and achieve their mountain biking goals in a fun, relaxed
environment.
WOMBATS
- The Women's Mountain Bike and Tea Society is a network of
women of all ages and abilities who share a passion for pedaling
in the dirt.
