Bike Bodygear Jewellery
Bike Bodygear makes an exclusive line of the hottest looking bike jewellery and leather accessories designed for sports and everyday activities. These products are made to endure extreme use and abuse. The jewellry is partially constructed from small bicycle components.

I have seen many types of bike-related jewellery in the past, but not one has attracted me as much as the range from bike bodygear. I chanced across this website while searching for links to include in bikesutra. At once, I was captivated by the seemimgly good workmanship of their products, as is evident from the individual product photographs on their website.

It was this interest that made me contact Cat from bike bodygear to enquire about their jewellery. I received a sample of the chain bracelet in the mail not long after and proceeded, with glee and excitement, to open the pack. The wait was not a disappointment.

Chunky is the first word I would use to describe the bracelet....and solid. Wrapped around my wrist, it looked right at home. Kind of "harley davidson-ish" I guess, but with slightly more appeal. The ring of chains wrapped around my wrist comfortably, causing no discomfort or itchiness like some other jewellery I had come across in the past. The belt buckle was easy to fasten and detatch, which is important expecially if you are in a hurry to take it off the jump into a shower after a long ride.

One comment I would make, though, is that I wish the chains links could have Shimano HG or SACHS imprinted on them. No doubt, in the current form it looks great and functions well, but I personally thought that such an imprint would really make the product look more authentic! No harm though, I throughly enjoy wearing this bracelet everywhere I go...and yes, the bracelet does get its fair share of stares when I hop down to the local shopping mall or to the lbs, with the frequently question being "where can I get one"?

Bike bodygear can be found at at this link or you can contact Charlotte directly thru email at cak@bike-bodygear.com . Check out the rest of their products....however, with great quality like this, I'm sure that their other products will attract much interest as well.
